I have dedicated most of my nursing career to providing exceptional care across various healthcare settings. My nursing journey began in 2007 when I completed the Practical Nursing Program at Sprott Shaw Community College and obtained my Bachelors of Nursing at the University of Fraser Valley in 2017.
I have proudly transitioned into the field of aesthetic nursing, having completed my training at the Canadian Board of Aesthetic Medicine.
As an Aesthetics Nurse, I have discovered my true passion for helping clients enhance their natural beauty and boost their self-confidence. I am fascinated by the transformative power of aesthetic medicine; it combines science, artistry, and patient care in a way that profoundly impacts individuals’ lives. I thoroughly enjoy creating personalized treatment plans that utilize various modalities, including injectables, skin rejuvenation techniques, and other advanced aesthetic procedures.
What I love most about working in aesthetic medicine is the opportunity to make a direct and positive difference in my clients’ lives. Witnessing their confidence grow and seeing their satisfaction with the results of their treatments is incredibly gratifying. Claudia Guillen
Hi, my name is Claudia Guillen and I am a Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of healthcare experience specializing in Aesthetic Medicine. I began my career in 2004 and graduated from the University of Victoria with a Bachelor’s in Nursing. My desire to acquire in-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology led me to pursue Critical Care Certification from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Following over 10 years of acute/in-hospital experience in Intensive Care at Royal Colombian Hospital, I went on to graduate with a Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Athabasca.
My desire to learn and grow as a clinician has led me to practice in Medical Aesthetics, Neurosurgery, Cardiac, Emergency, Intensive Care, Post-operative Care, Trauma, Orthopedics, Family Practice, Urgent Care, Dermatology, and Mental Health. In addition, I have held leadership roles in Critical Care Outreach Programs and as a Clinical Instructor for the Critical Care Program.
As a Nurse Practitioner, I thrived and excelled at performing in-office surgical procedures, which led me to Medical Aesthetics where I could combine my love for learning, precision, detail, and in-depth knowledge of anatomy. I obtained Medical Aesthetic Certification from Canada’s gold standard Aesthetic Training Program “The Botox and Filler course.” To refine and perfect my medical aesthetics skills further, I have acquired specialized Medical Aesthetics training through the Derma Institute and the Canadian Board of Aesthetic Medicine. I honed my skills through extensive training in aesthetic injectables (Botox, dermal fillers), Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), IV Vitamins, and medically guided weight loss.
I believe in a holistic approach to aesthetics, prioritizing natural-looking results that enhance a client’s own beauty by combining technical precision with an artistic eye. With a patient-centered approach, I prioritize safety, efficacy, and personalized care, ensuring that each treatment plan is specifically customized to meet each patient’s unique needs.
